The Ferryman | Acrylic & Oil on Canvas
, 2010, 60 x 40 cm
The Ferryman is a subtle acknowledgment to the beautiful novel ‘Siddhartha’ by Hermann Hesse, in which Siddhartha, a Brahmin’s son, departs on a life-long journey of self-discovery, eventually meeting an old ferryman with whom he learns the secrets of the river; that which is everywhere and nowhere all at the same time.
