In Hermeticism, there is a short work titled The Emerald Tablet, attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, which introduces the concept of “As above, so below” — the macrocosm mirroring the microcosm. This idea is reflected throughout my series through the use of specific shades of blue to represent that which is above and that which is below.
